Double Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies!
I generally try to eat as healthy as possible, which is difficult when you have a sweet tooth as big as mine! So recently I have been doing a lot of experimenting with healthier alternatives to my favorite baked goods. The latest experiment, double chocolate chip protein cookies.
They are actually really, really good. And they satisfy my sweet tooth perfectly without causing any guilt!
Simple, easy ingredients:1 cup of oats, 1/2 cup of protein powder, 1 egg, 1/4 cup peanut butter, 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp honey or agave, and 1/4 cup chocolate chips (I used Cadbury dark chocolate chips).
I had to mix the ingredients by hand since they were a bit dry, but then you just bake them at 350 for 8ish minutes. This recipe makes about 9-10 small cookies (they don’t change shape when they are cooked). I am excited to try out different alterations on this recipe, maybe make an oatmeal raisin cookie with some walnuts?
